How can I hide my PBN sites to the competitors? Do you use some plugins? There are footprints by doing that? Thank you! :):)

I tried it with htaccess on all of my blogs ~10 days ago. Majestic still shows the links. but who knows how often they get recrawled from majesticbot.

If you hid them after the majestic found them, they won't disappear from there ever. They will move from fresh index to historic index, but will remain there forever.

Put a code into your htaccess file. There are plenty of codes shared here on BHW that will do the trick.

Thanks Nargil, didn't know that. But at least they will only be visible for Pro-Members this way.

Or those who had the lowest Majestic subscription prior to the price structure change. :)

Well shit, I guess I have to live with that.

BTW there's a WP-Plugin called "Spider Blocker". But as far as I know it also does just edit the htaccess.

It is ideal to just edit htaccess manually without any plugins.

Blocking them via your .htaccess file and it is easy to edit your .htaccess file with notepad, no plugin needed.

Blocking IP is good but if they getting more IP, your site will get crawled again. The best is put this into your .htaccess to block entire MAJESTIC BOTS

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^.*MJ12bot.*$ [NC,OR]
