back link from a pbn homepage!
PBN and guest post: which is better?

It depends... most important than the origin is the content. Does the Guest Post Site have a related thematic? If so maybe more valuable than a PBN of multiple thematic. Is the PBN monothematic or thematic related? Then that link could be stronger if the PBN is well done.
What you won´t like is links from websites with unrelated content as worth way less as links.

Buddy guest posts are better as compare to PBN links .priority must be given to guest posting .

I feel both adds some value to your off-page SEO. As mentioned by some of our BHW'ers, getting Guest post link from your relevant niche is difficult and pricy. Whereas PBN's are relatively cheaper but hard to find good PBN.
However, for diversifying your link strategy you should have all types of backlinks I believe (unless you target 100's of posts with Long Tails as your ranking strategy)

As for me, they are a bit different things that do not make sense to compare. I'm also wondering how some people compare crowd and PBN links. It's a bit funny to me.
Not in all niches you can get links with guest articles. That's why you can't do without PBN in those niches.
That's why I wouldn't compare PBN and Guest Posts in terms of effectiveness.
Note that it's much harder to make PBNs on your own than guest posts. Even if you buy PBN you need to make sure the seller's reputation, otherwise such links can do a lot of damage to your site.

PBNs are a good option if you're willing to take a chance, but guest posts are a much superior option for most people seeking for long-term marketing success. It's easy to see why most SEO gurus prefer guest posts in terms of ROI, effort, and risk levels. You canfind high quality guest posts from marketplaces like Kallisto,Fiverr and more.

PBNs Only better for indexing and if you need a organic traffic then the game is all about niche Related guest Posts.

Typically.
1) Guest post is better in typical situations. Why? It's on a site that's not as exploited and has fresh content regularly . PBNs are built with the sole purpose of exploiting them for back-links and Google usually smacks them and the sites they link to, which don't have a very high reputation / back-link profile from reputable sites
2) Now, if the guest post is on a trash site... Nope.... and some people sell 'guest posts' as part of their sales page on a PBN but a true guest post comes from websites with REAL VERIFIABLE WRITERS. They force some to put "Site post" instead of "guest Post" on sites where outreach is done b/c the people who sell are 'sellers' for high quality sites that are more focused on their journalism than selling guest/site posts
3) If the PBN somehow has a better readership, retention rate, and long-standing reputation........... It might out do the guest post but I've yet to seen this
On this forum , expect a lot of people to say "PBN" because that's what's being sold by some people who make millions off this forum and have several burner accounts and minions doing replies, etc. And i'm not knocking the hustle. Hell, anyone can still try the PBN and it may work but these are just facts I've found.
