Strategy: Have a 301 redirected domain setup to your money site and build an extra link to that domain on each of your PBN's to squeeze more juice out of them. So instead of only getting 1 - 3 links per PBN you can get 3 - 6 links.

Good tactic, yes or no? Why or why not.

I bet google detects this but try it out and see for yourself.

So you will get two links from each blog instead of 1 link. Since links are from same domain and IP, it will not matter alot for SEO benefit.

The downside of doing this is that you are leaving extra foot prints and you whole network can be detected by google.

Now weigh in pros and cons... :)

yea I was wondering that, would it be an extra footprint? probably. would it even pass any more link juice since it is essentially ending up at the same location?

The PR is evenly distributed between the links, so having the 301 link is really pointless because you'll get the same amount of link juice in the end. 301's also lose some link juice so it's best to stick with 1 link.

Take a shot. make an experiment your self & make another threads that you are success or not.

I just created a thread about this. Almost thought the OP was just reposting my shit. Anyways, you can do it but not the way the OP described. The links would NOT be coming from the same IP cause the 301'd sub-domain would be hosted somewhere completely diff. than the PBN. Second, you'd have to set up a 301 sub-domain on a diff. domain for each PBN site. Obviously linking from 100 PBN's to the same redirect is a footprint. But Matt Cutts said straight up a 301 diverts just as much link juice as a link does, so the loss is not a big deal.

Theoretically it may sound good but wouldnt it be better to point the second link to a web2.0 that links to your moneysite?

In theory the same amount of link juice would be diverted assuming there only 1 OBL on the web 2.0, which is not possible. That's also assuming big G hasn't devalued web 2.0s links, which it sounds like they have.

Look at your link building efforts as a funnel with your money site being at the smaller end of it. All your link juice flow should always be towards in and not scattered across back and forth. You are better off sending one link to 301 site from PBN.

I don't think this will have any significant effect on the ranking of your site. Most people building links through redirects build thousands of them - a churn and burn tactic.

Great Idea OP, but certainly the site might get hit by Google next update.. But it's worth the time!
