Has anyone else experienced this or going through it right now? Its driving me absolutely crazy. I hate paypal, theyre the devil. Most people use paypal to pay so were forced to use them. Wish we could start a bhw boycott of paypal.

Ive called over two dozen times and its always the same spiel. If I didnt know any better I would think their employees are all robots that lack any rationale or logic. I asked them to tell me why the hold was put on my account and the lady had four "codes" and exaplined them to me and not a single one applied to my account. When I point this out im greeted with a lot of "ums", "uhhhs", and "I dont knows". The supervisors arent any better.

They actually put this hold on my account a while ago and I guess I got lucky but I was able to call and explain to the agent that I dont sell tangible goods or or ebay so uploading tracking info or receiving positive feedback on ebay to release the hold doesnt apply to me. Luckily the guy released all of the money and was able to remove the hold. Guess I havent been so lucky this time.

Have any of you successfully had this removed?

Anybody know of a payment processor besides 2checkout that accepts payments via paypal without needing an account? (I know plimus used to but not anymore).

Same here man.. they are holding my 1k for 21 days...and i really need to make some purchases. they even held the money fiverr sent me as gift. sooo fed up of paypal. Monopoly sucks

Im going through it too. It really sucks when you have to refund someone, and they have your payments on hold so they try to take it from your bank account, and if you don't have it in your bank account, and the person decides to file a dispute because they think you are bullshitting them, then its somehow your fault because you had a dispute against you.

Just think the amount of interest they can make by applying mass holds and doing short term investing... Just saying... Don't expect them to ever go away...

I keep telling people that is what they are doing. millions of users think about if they hold $500 of about 300000 users for 6 months, heck some dont even care and just give up

I have also always said that. If they get 3% interest on the dollar, and they hold a quarter million accounts limited with an average of $500 per account for 6 months, they profit $3,750,000. And thats just on the low end. They actually make more than that.

Is there ANY good way to take credit cards on a smaller site?
