Paypal ups the anti

So everyone here is by now a master of paypal and ebay right? They have just upped the anti and has my face in a state of "not bad"

I sent a payment request but when the person received it, paypal sends a "fraudulent" alert and tells the recipient to call in to discuss it. The agent helps the recipient send the money, but you guessed right WITH A 21 DAY HOLD!!!

I can't even get mad that they outwitted me, I whipped up a 100% CLEAN STEALTH account with FRESH and NEW information, made sure this fresh info was verified and matched with what i had given the companies when i called in. In addition I whipped up documents, ID's the whole lot, but this....THIS....took me by surprise.

Bottom line i just wanted to give everyone a heads up of paypals new tactic.

This may turn out to be their worst trick ever.Most buyers of digital products will now use this to advantage.buy complain and have their monies back

I would just do paypals job for them, add the user on to your skype contacts and "walk them through, how to send payment." might take a bit more time, but you can obviously be speaking to them about work, and possibly getting them to so a subscription.

No i know all about the 21 day hold and what not. It's just their sneaky tactic of sending an "alert" that a payment request is "fraudulent" and that the recipient should call in to discuss it took me by surprise because this is the first time they have done it. Total underhand method. And Paypal-being the nice company that they are (not) took it upon themselves to set up the transaction.

Instead of limiting my account, they resort to sneaky tactics so they can set up the transactions to their discretion. I'd rather have gotten my account limited because I was so ready to upload my arsenal of documents. I was prepared for it.

That's not new either. They just want the buyer to be aware. It sucks, but good communication with your buyer is the way to reassure them. They probably sent the request when the person tried to pay. This happens ALL THE TIME. I agree it sucks...

Yeah i'm talking my client through this right now to get around this. Paypal Stealth-A game of chess lol
