My paypal got suspended indefinately. My ebay account did not since the paypal suspension had nothing to do with ebay. My friend has agreed to create a different ebay and paypal account under his name and let me use it to sell. My question is can I use my computer (IP) at home to use his ebay and paypal? I know it's paranoid but I'm worried that because Paypal suspended my account and knows my IP that if I logon a different ebay they will somehow find out.

So basically am I safe if I just use my friends ebay from my IP to buy and sell things? And to be safe I will only logon paypal from his place(his IP). Am I being overly paranoid? Feedback? Thanks!

logging into a different acct from a linked IP will get the new account banned

I have a US proxy socks5 and a PDF guideline on how to use it. That way you can log on to and use any PayPal account from any country. Let me know if you're interested.

That's interesting. I read on another forum that logging from different IPs (I read another post of yours where you said it's a proxy generator where the IP changes frequently) would get my paypal limited.

Seems like going the proxy route is out of the question. Thanks for all the feedback so far.

Real quick question though. If i can't log on my friend's ebay and paypal with my IP what are my other options since I can't do the proxy route. Any suggestions?

Maybe a specific proxy that doesn't change would be the answer?

i noticed someone posted this:
"You can grab a small openvz VPS instead. Then use bitvise to use it as a proxy. Take a look at ******* for cheap VPS.
You can read more here: *********** in 2. Using multiple tools

is that another decent option?

Yeah, they both claim they aren't the same company, but they share info bigtime. That eBay account will more than likely get suspended too.

Also, if you do decide to use a VPS/VPN, be sure to use one that blocks your IP even through SSL connections.

There is this very useful guide on the internet - ebay stealth guide. Worth reading to avoid some really stupid mistakes. Paypal is not that simple as it used to be.

Last questions guys. Is buying another / different ISP another option I have? I live next to another house I own so the ISP would be for different house but right next to it on the same street.

or you can use the tethered internet connection to your cell phone. I am in a major city and using my cell phone, i have received completely different IP's the last 360 or so times I logged in (I track every single time I log in)

From what I understand paypal doesn't like you logging in from constantly changing IPs. Or were you talking about ebay?

And having cookies + internet history helps a lot, too. You could log in with a different IP each time and be fine (that's essentially what happens with tethering/hotspots/dongles anyway).

Yeah, just keep your cookies. Make a separate Firefox profile for each ebay/paypal.
