So.....

I misplaced my paypal debit card and reported it lost. I went ahead and requested a replacement and guess what...... I had to 'apply' for a new one. not a huge deal I suppose, except for the fact that they now run a credit check when you request a new debit card.......... wtf paypal

Sorry for the rant.

well this is new to me..
they never did any credit check on me, it was free to all verified premium business members and i applied and they sent over to me in 2 weeks time.
I damaged my card once in rain and called them up , they asked me file at their site lost card and apply new, and did that and got another in 2 weeks.

you need to talk to the cust service.,

Yep.. positive.

They said this was something "new" they're doing. I don't agree with them wanting to run a credit check. Especially since I already had a paypal debit card to begin with. I should have at least been 'grandfathered' in....

somebody should really slap on the face this company of morons now, credit check for a debit card, wtf?! i bet they're also profiting something from this as well, it seems they don't know how much is enough

Random this is new. I have one that is expired guess I will have to do a credit check too. sigh.. Dont get why they need to do the credit check its not like its a credit card.
