paypal screws me over for international refund

sadly they always take the exchange fees first (robbing b@stards) they will refund the selling fees but not the exchange fee so you have to make that up with a payment into your account

oh they are robbing b**'s....that's just another way they screw you the customer.... But everyone still uses them so what to do?

The way i see it is Paypal has deployed resources to first offer you a payment processing service and then you want to refund it means they have to again offer a money processing service. Of course they should charge for there service as they have put in place a very secure payment platform which enable you to do business, they have to maintain the systems pay staff salaries -- hence there are fees.

So before you and other start saying how crab PP is , better think pass your nose and then also look at the alternatives to paypal and think if they would not charge a fee.

I am in no way affiliated with PP i just think pass my nose and hate when people start slinging shit because they dont know better.

Ok, so it costs 119canadian dollars to find out an exchange rate then change a number on the screen, then 119 canadian dollars to change it back to said number?
bearing in mind the money was never removed from the account
It would be fair enough if i had removed the money then payed it back in obviously, but it went into my account sat there and cost me 238 canadian dollars for the privelige

I had a negative balance due to a refund on an item that sold on ebay. I called PP and the rep sent the request to a supervisor. 1 day later my account was credited.

I had to cancel the sale because ebay had a system glitch that allowed a international buyer to buy when I clearly stated no international shipping.

Since this was not my fault, PP refunded the fee, but I did have to call and request this refund.

PP does not refund currency conversation part when you refund money.
