Once again, calm down mate. You're a little arrogant to label my post as just another experience, I've overseen hundreds of thousands ot transactions.
E books are classified as high risk and that's the end of the story. There's merchants which will offer the infrastructure for you as tracking delivery is a challenging metric in this space and they'll take a cut, want kyc and eat the chargebacks themselves.
Percentage alone is not a valuable metric, you really ought to read and sit down a bit when asking for advise, if you think all the replies will blow sugar onto your nuts, that's fine, but I won't, neither will paypal.
Percentage relative to transaction size and refund ratio is much closer to hownit works rather than an arbitrary 1% number. Also total volume. If you generate 10 millions per month of very high per ticket sales and you are seeing a 1% chargeback rate, they might have you.
Unless you have not been on risk assessment teams, and chatgtp sure as hell wasn't, you cannot know, and asking for "experiences" is fishing in the dark.
You might have worked for Rockefeller that I wouldn't give 2 fucks. You are not above any of us no matter what, you are just sharing your experience, which is... just an experience.
Thanks for your input though.
