PayPal just raised their fees to 3.9%+basic fees. Every seller knows the struggle with PayPal ... tons of chargebacks, reversals and limitations.

I've noticed that literally no seller on BHW accepts Bitcoins (except me). BTC comes with lots of pros.

Lots of people complain about PayPal but noone tries to make the situation better.

What do you think about the current situation with PayPal? Why don't you accept BTC?

If you have tons of chargebacks, reversals and limitations then that means you're not a good seller. You make it sound as if just because you use PayPal you're going to run in to chargebacks and limitations. Let me tell you, I've had my accounts with PayPal for over 5 years (Business & Personal) and I've never had a single issue with them. I've never had limitations and never had a chargeback.

If you practice good business and speak to your customers, you should never have to worry about a "charge back".

I haven't verified that they raised their fee but if they have, I wouldn't mind too much, I've made so much money over the years through PayPal that I don't mind them making a few extra dollars off of me.

It is great that you accept BTC.
Unfortunately most people (your customers) use PayPal, until that changes, there is no point trying to force people to use alternative payment methods, as customers will go to which ever site makes it easier for them to complete the purchase. There are exceptions to this, but not when the product/service is available from multiple sources.

I don't have disputes with customers who aren't satisfied with my service. I have chargebacks from people using stolen credit cards (sometimes a person from 4 different paypal accounts)

As a business man you should also be interested in optimizing your income. Means reducing fees and so on.

You would also have no fees using Bitcoins.

Yeah you are right. For example I am offering my customers a 5% bonus on payments when using Bitcoins.

Yes, that of course would be an issue however that's never an issue I have ran in to, thankfully.

I LOL at the red part.

Here, once I delivered the service or product. The "scammer" client will chargeback me.

I lost hundred of dollars each month due to "chargeback" from 1-2 clients that are hiding behind 3-4 names.
While I paid paypal fees thousand of dollars every month, yet while they cant solve my issue, they end up increase more fees.

Question for you OP: can you take credit card payments through BitPay? Can you take eChecks? Most of the reason people use Paypal is because you can accept different payment options. If you can only pay with bitcoins through BitPay, then that's the reason most sellers don't take bitcoins. If not, you have to remember that PayPal was here first. It's been around a lot longer than bitcoins, and it's going to be hard to get people to trust a crypto currency over a payment processor that people treat like a bank.

While I've never had a chargeback myself due to the nature of my business (I work closely with clients for the long-term), I had heard about this happening to sellers on here before, which is why I hesitated for such a long time on opening a BST here.

Just ignor paypal and use other payment method like skrill or payza.

Skrill (ex-Moneybookers) it's good payment system, only 1% fess, but don't very good work with USA, if i correct they can't send money to other countries

I never used BitPay but it takes few minutes to buy bitcoins on different sites. Yeah PayPal was first here ... they kind of abuse that.

how do you even get started with bitcoin and where do you find them at
