Paypal question.

Hello,

I have a paypal business account, right now when I send payment to others, they see it as receiving from my real name. I want them to see they are receiving from my website name, how can I change this?

Here's how to change the name of your business:


Log in to your PayPal account.
1. Click the Profile icon at the top of the page and then select Profile and Settings from the drop-down menu.
2. Click the Update option next to Business details in the Business information section.
3. Click Change name.
4.Select Business Name Change (business name), then click Continue.
5. Follow the instructions to change your name.
 
Does anyone have any idea what my problem may be? I opened a brand new business account yesterday. It is receiving payments, but they aren't being credited to my account balance http://i.imgur.com/wfPURaU.jpg I even sent a few cents to myself as friends or family to test it, but nothing is being credited. The email is confirmed, the security questions are set and I'm currently waiting the 2-3 day period to link it to my bank account. I have no idea what the hell the problem may be.
 
You haven't even searched online though, you have asked a retarded question in the wrong forum.

We're not paypal tech support despite what OP thinks.

We cannot do anything to help him here, so how are we supposed to help.

This is a waste of our time and his.

Maybe it has something to do with your account being brand new.

This new layout make me go nuts sometimes, because it's not showing important stuff. Like when i was adding a new CC, with the new layout there wasn't any option to place the automatic charge on the card, which is needed to be able to verify it with the 4 digit code and without that, the card cannot be used. Maybe i was too left-handed, but i wasn't able to find the option to do that anywhere, so i switched back to the old layout, where the option appeared right away. My point is that you may miss one or more verifications without knowing.

Also pay attention to the "Unclaimed" status of those payments, PayPal tell you exactly why that may happen:

A payment may be Unclaimed for one of the following reasons:

  • Your recipient did not sign up with PayPal using the same email address that you used to send the money. The recipient simply needs to add this email address to his account (he can add up to eight addresses) and confirm the new email address. The money will then immediately appear in his balance.
  • The recipient may not have confirmed his email address. Any payments sent to an account will not appear in the account balance until the user has completed the registration process by confirming his email address.
  • The recipient must manually accept or deny this payment.
