Paypal question

Many of you accept paypal payments for their services. What if someone with a stolen/hacked PP account send you money ?
Will your account will be limited/reviewed?

The funds associated with the 'hacked' transaction will be reversed.

If your account is fully verified, and has already been reviewed, then you may not need to provide further information to PayPal - however, you can put limits on what payments you receive - i.e verified address, etc - this limits what scammers can do, when using hacked paypal accounts.

it does not matter what status id your paypal. If they the transaction was not authorized when you have an option to escalate to paypal dispute where paypal will be with you during the dispute.
What I personally recommend is to ignore the unauthorized transactions, but if you think that your client my unauthorized transaction claim and he owns the paypal account then you can go ahead with presenting yourself to paypal and the dispute will be sorted in your favor that is checked with 85% success rate.

Theyll reverse the transaction and if the account the money was sent to has suspicious activity they MIGHT limit the account.

yep your account with get a limit or hold put on it. They will have you re send your info again.

Its a pain but its one way they can make sure that you are still in control of your account and that the hackers arnt just passing money thorough accounts before they get shut down.

This is good advice. I agree. I had a bad payment with Paypal (somebody with a stolen account from what I remember).

I have a verified account, so it was no big deal at all for me. In Paypal eyes, you are not the problem in this equation.
