Paypal Question....

    Hi Guys,

    Im selling a website next week and i was wanting to know how i can get paid right away.

    Im planing on selling the site for $10,000 but i know paypal would flag that right away.

    i was wanting to know if the are any other payment sites, or any other ways to get past this.

    the reason i ask is because i owe someone money and the faster i can get it the better for me. I also dont want to be scammed by them saying i never authorised the payment and shit.

    dont use paypal bc they will hold your money for 21 days probably. so if said person not happy he has 21 days to get his money back.

    get a bank account and have them do a wire transfer directly to your account and your funds should be available in a couple of hrs, also make sure that you mention to the bank that you are selling items with a high value and you will have a large amounts deposited all at once, I think that anything over 9999.99 raises a red flag for any kind of transfer so make sure you cover you but.

    I use to sell the diesel hummers all over the world on Ebay and would get trasfers all the time of course my wire transfers were around $50,000 US so I had to wait a day or two just to make sure the money was legit. good luck and congrats for selling your site

    its not the bank im worried about its that paypal put me on hold... does anyone know a way to get round it?

    The most safest route is a escrow service (don't know any) or wire transfers since their non-reversable. And as noted above make sure you tell em that ur getting a large payment because they will freeze the account and think your funding terrorist.

    i was thinking of wire transfers but i live in the uk and the buyer will most properly be in another country. I would like something where it non-reversable as i have sold a website before for $7k and that got took off me as they said they never sent the money. so i really dont know what to do.

    Probably a bank wire transfer is the perfect solution for you. Paypal will probably hold your money for several weeks, and using an escrow service, you have to pay some fees.

    i have just been looking at other things i can do... what about e-gold? anyone recommend them... i dont know if they have a limit or anything but i will look it up... thanks for all your posts... keep them coming plz

    Not e-gold, to many problems with this payment method. Try LibertyReserve. I use it for years and I had now problem at all. It's your decision now.

    also i live in uk and it needs to be easy for the buyer...
