Recently sold an item and buyer paid thru PayPal. Shipped the item and it was delivered 2 days ago. I used Fedex. So my question is: How long does PayPal takes to release funds from hold?
In PayPal site: It says within one day and another place in the PayPal site it says within 3 days. So which one is correct?

Depending on the dollar amount and your account history, PayPal may hold the money for full 21 days even if tracking shows delivered.

I had the same with a new Paypal account as they held 3 accounts mounting over £1300 in total as pending, but released one of the money accounts 21 days later the other 2 are being released for transfer in a few days.

Only way to release it from hold is to make the buyer confirm receipt after 48 hours

3-7 days after delivery

Even if they say 2,3, or whatever days after delivery verification, in most cases, they will hold funds for 21 days.
