Paypal Queries - Unable to send money???

Hi!

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum.

I bought a bank verified PP ( Linked to a bank account ) from one of the guys here.
My friend managed to transfer some money to me.
Money was credited to my PP account.
However, i am unable to send the money out to another friend. Its about 2USD only...
Error was something about adding funds to my account.
Tried emailing PP but no reply atm.

Do i need to link a CC to it so that i can send money to my friends?
How can i then spend the money in my PP account?

Any suggestions?

If i understand correctly, your account has $2 in it, but when you try to send out that $2 to someone it gives you an error saying you need money in your account even if you already have $2 right? If so, I noticed that happens often to new accounts, its a soft block of some kind. If you try to send over 50% of the current balance(give or take) of a new account, it seems paypal gives you that error. It usually goes away after a week or two. It sucks, but it really sucks when your it happens to you with $xxxx in the account. All i can say is wait, or add a cc to send out the money directly from the cc

I've talked to PayPal about similar issues before. Typically if you revive money they want you to wait a while versus transferring it within minutes of receiving it. Also, for business accounts you need to leave approx. 10% of income in your account or wait at least 1 day before transferring the entire sum out or you're very likely to get flagged.

It will be fine soon. Happened with me many times. REMEMBER, don't try too many.

And to add what others have said above - even though PayPal's support may be useless at times, it still helps to give them a ring whenever you have an issue as sometimes they'll be able to help.
