Hey everyone, I'm a frequent user of dotdb.com, and I recently found out that they've been banned by PayPal. I can't help directly, but I thought posting this news here might help if someone who works at PayPal sees this post and can assist.
dotDB.com is a valuable tool for domain name research, allowing users to identify related registrations based on specific keywords. This is particularly useful for those in the domain investment industry seeking potential buyers, or for those concerned with brand protection and identifying possible trademark infringement.
The platform operates on a subscription basis and accepts payment through PayPal and credit cards.
However, dotDB has recently encountered issues with its PayPal account, which was unexpectedly suspended without explanation. This suspension has prevented the platform from conducting further business through PayPal, and any funds held by PayPal may be inaccessible for up to 180 days, including those required for paying the programmers they have employed. As a result, dotDB subscribers are no longer being automatically billed according to their previously agreed-upon terms. dotDB is actively seeking a prompt and equitable resolution to this issue.
