If Paypal locks your account because you have a negative balance for a certain number of days, can you still receive payments to pay off that balance?
The Paypal rep, who I think is the one from their collections department, told me that they don't actually close the negative accounts, they just lock them and attach a third party collections agency after it. Then the account stays in a perpetual locked status forever until the balance is paid off then the account is unlocked and I get to use it again. Least that's what the rep told me.
But I'm looking for some answers here, cause the main customer service people at Paypal did not sound like they knew anything about what their collections department does. So if anyone has any experience with this...
