I submited the documents needed, a passport, and a proof of address, which was phone bill, but then they said Necessary information is not there.

I resubmitted the whole page with it's second side a few days ago now, but they are still "In proggress". Is it normal? Paypal was verified, and got limited for selling raffle tickets on eBay. No, it was not a scam. :ponder: The card it was verified with was not a vcc.

Is there anything I can do about it?

Can I use that visa card with another paypal, is there a way to unbind it from this one?

This also happen to me. So, I submit all the documents needed by Paypal. After about 1 week, my account become normal again. You need to make sure your name, address, etc in the documents can be seen and must be SAME as your paypal account information.
 
Even i got the same problem... but instead of sending documents. I have choose to verify my bank account for address proof. How many days will it take to remove the limited account tag. Will this works or its a must to send the documents.

Can any one tell me where to send the documents.. I dont see an attachemnts when i go to contact info of paypal.

They say my account received over 1800€ and now they have to verify my business or some shit like that. The problem is that I just turn 18 in May and I used a fake date of birth. I think you are not really allowed to have a business paypal account if you are not 18 right?

What should I do now? They will verify my information and I have to submit my date of birth... Should I wait until I'm 18 because I have 180 days left :)

Can't you just verify it in your fathers name or something like that?

I have a website for electronics. I wanted to integrate PayPal in the website, but one friend of mine told me that they will ask for many many documents to be sent. Please could someone tell me what docs I am supposed to send

My account has been limited many times maybe 10 or more. All you need to do is submit the documents they ask for, then call them. Be polite tell them you submitted what was asked for and could they please unlimit the account, 9 times out of 10 its done on the spot, or within the hour. Never fails for me.

You will find the phone number within paypal/contact details
 
Well it all depends on whether or not you are doing anything dodgey.
Took me less that 10 minutes to get my PP unlimited today because their
SMS lock was playing up. Search the web find a generic number for your area
call them up and give them greif. Have all your documentaion ready to fax or email
and while you're on the phone to them send it to the person you are talking too.
Tell them you will not get off the phone until the situation is satisfied.
Have them verify that they have recieved the correct documents and have them
unlimit your account before you hang up.
It's business, Take control! or be eaten!
 
Thanks for the fast replies. I was wondering if you guys know what kind of docs I have to send so i become a verified merchant. I have written almost 10 emails to PayPal and they continue to tell me that I don't have to send any kind of documents. But a friend of mine told me that it is better if I send all needed docs in the beginning because they can lock my account later and ask me to send the documents.

Do you know what I an supposed to send (ID, address proof and maybe some additional docs as I have registered a business account)

You can ask the same person to get rid of your limited access.... Is it in your name or some others name

No, there someone else name and address in paypal, and bought this paypal from someone else, he also do not have docs to submit in it, coz the name and address is fake in the account.
 
I can solve this people. It is an easy job ;) just send me a PM and we can discuss it
 
Call Paypal and ask them nicely what else you have to send. If they say it's ok ask if they can help you to get it fixed.

You can find the list of documents required in the resolution centre

Usually it's proof of ID (passport, govt photo ID, anything that shows ur face, name, govt issued and date of birth)
Bank docs proving it's ur account
Proof of address like bank docs or utility bills
Can't remember if there was anything else... I think they may want a tax statement but not sure

Definitely call them

my account just got something like locked so I can't send money right now I can just receive money. I changed my account to business status to be able to accept orders. But I don't have a business and I'm still not 18.. I have 45 days left and in this timeframe I will be 18.

I have still around $1000 in my account and I don't want to lose this.. What would you do? As I said I have no business and I'm not 18 right now. They write that they check my information and so on.

Should I wait till I'm 18 and write my correct age? But then they could see that I've created the account when I was not 18.. I really don't know what to do right now..

Please help me :(
 
I had to deal with this just yesterday, so I thought I would post an update for those of you wondering if the photoshop method still works.

Yes, it does.

I photoshopped a util bill with the correct info on it. Account was unlocked. For those of you wondering where to get those uitility bills, try typing the following into your favorite search engine...

"understanding your electric bill [name of city]"

No quotes. Change [name of city] to the actual city you want an elec bill for. Then load it up in photoshop.

well if u send the info they request, u should get unlimited.

follow up with a call and they will expedite it.

BTW u dun need to have a business to have a business account.
