Paypal Limitation

Firstly if this is the wrong section I apologize please let me know.

I have basically had my paypal account limited pending receipt of proofs. I have sent passport and proof of address. The problem I have is they are asking for relevant business details which I dont have. I am an individual person making money using paypal and the last two months has seen me make very good money.

I have read alot of stuff since saying that alot of people did not get their accounts back. I have quite a bit of money in there at the moment but my main concern is that everything I do is repeat business so I am worried as to what I am supposed to do here if my account does get blocked.

They have not give any reason as to why it is limited apart from them really needing more information to verify my account.

I have heard lots of stories but would like to know if anyone has had a similar thing regarding business information and what the resolution was.

If they are asking for relevant business proof then that is what you need to give them. Yeah you might have to buy
a VOIP number and find an address to make it work but it is doable.

The problem is they know I am not a business and since getting this request I have come across many horror stories about their money being held for 6 months and their accounts being permanently frozen for no apparent reason. Dodgy as if you ask me and not the start I would want to the year.

They do not know for fact you are not a business and you have nothing to lose since this is the only way to really
break the limit on the account. If something goes wrong and the account is suspended permanently then you can
use a withdraw service after 180 days.

true.. but if you say you don't have business info then why did u make a business account on paypal? If u didn't then they shouldn't ask for that information!

Its because the paypal account has to many High transactions, your best bet is to do a little google search on how to remove a paypal limitation.

contact the user secondeye here on BHW... he has a service to help with this type of thing.

Hi guys thanks for the replies. I was lucky enough to get it back without the business info. I got away with just the id and proofs.

I didnt open it as a business account by the way. It was personal to begin with.

Should be ok going forward however definitely will be more cautious

So you are saying it never was a business account and all you had to do is provide normal documentation?

I got just verified my business account without to provide business informations. They dident ask for my business (not registered). You can register a company and close it after 1 week. It will cost you like $150.
