Using paypal is just way too much trouble now it's not worth it. Is there a service that respects your privacy yet allows you to store your money and accept paypal payments from others?

Accept Paypal without using Paypal. I think you'd be hard pressed to find something like this.
But then again, I'm not the expert

You might want to look into 2Checkout. You can accept PayPal payments with them.

So does BrainTree (https://www.braintreepayments.com/payment-methods/accept-paypal), but it's a PayPal company.
