[PayPal] Isn't that racism?

I have always wondering....
Most of you guys got this messsage "You can not send personal payments on India". Personal payments = friends/family
Isn't that racism? It's like...you can not have Indian friends

This happens for a lot of other countries. I tried sending a "gift" to Brazil and India and the option wasn't there. So I called Paypal support line and their rep said I wouldn't be able to because several countries have regulations.
 
At least we are having some liberties with PP because they accepted the policy. If it wanted a fight with the top guys, we wouldn't have had PP at all. :( Blame the top guys here and not PP for the limitations. Anyway the money laundering isn't stopped at all, only we the simpler marketers and online businesses who need PP for everything are suffering.

I wouldnt say paypal is bad considering I can send and receive payments from clients outside India. After All, its a great bank I would say which is accepted over maximum number of countries and I wouldnt think of switching over to any other payment systems.

Moreover, you can very well transfer funds within India through a bank account where PP transactions would obviously be more.
 
RBI has a framework set for payments going in and out of india or even within india for that matter. They hate it when someone steps on their toes :P

Jokes apart, they want the money accounted for and PayPal doesn't have that much of accountability.
 
Paypal has a ton of accountability they are a major international risk management and finance company.
 
When all the money is coming to the bank and it can be investigated any time the govt wishes to, then why restrict it? That would take care of the incoming money into India, but for outgoing money (from India), they could have worked out the debit card angle and they could have made it work for international usage including for PP international transactions -- but wouldn't that help the poor IMers and small businesses then... no they don't have that kind of thinkers in the gvt?
 
Its not fault of PP, its Indian Government who does't like Paypal and have lots of restriction that's why you cant keep money in your paypal account for long time.

Indian Government makes rules which is good for only Netas (Minister) and not for common citizen and we the internet marketer's are suffering the most.
 
Find another angle to send the money. Its not racism. Its just that there are laws.
 
It's most def racism. Paypal are the most racist sobs I ever met in my life. One day I politely called up cause my password wasn't working. They fixed it. Then before the woman hung up I heard, "ate a cracker". I was so confused then 5 mins later it hit me. That bitch said, "lata cracka".

I did some more research and found out they also support payments for oreo cookies. As we all know, oreo's been segregating chocolate and vanilla since world war II. Undeniably proof that paypals a bunch a bigots.

Most companies and governments hate liberty and every year there is less and less, just get use to it and be ready for more this is what will happen PayPal is just an example.
