Paypal is Scam Company

I dont think the issue here is with paypal. I know they f#uck up sometimes (very often) . But still, it will come a day when you will find yourself in the obligation of using it again.

Why don't you make your own virtual POS? Taxes will be 0.2-0.8% max+ 10$ a month.

Which one do you recommend?

I'm from India and should be possible to accept payments from around the world.

I'm looking for one, but don't which one is good and some are not for Indians.

I'm asking this to you, cos you have mentioned the pricing as well, so I assume you might know one.

PayPal is a bloodsucker, scam you in exchange rate, deposit handling, 3% per transaction for Sellers.

Folk Paypal + EBay + Google

PayPal is good, I asked for a refund a few days back, even though I purchased services from seller accidentally, though never used. I got a refund.

PayPal is more likely to side with the Customer than the seller in most cases unless it is obvious the buyer had no right to a refund. If they sided with the seller it is possible you didn't state your claim well enough.

Contact your local banks and tell them you want to open virtual POS terminal on your site or for your service. Most will accept major cards like VISA, MAESTRO, MASTERCARD... Some don't accept American Express but it really depends on the bank.

P.S You must have registered company.

Yes, in fact axis bank and icici bank in India has the terminals according to my knowledge. I contacted them once and the conversation was positive. They do support international transaction nevertheless, as long as the card is a visa/mastercard.

I have once paid for something with my credit card and x10 of the fee was deducted out of my account, i got no tangible response from them. The internet is an unsafe place full of scammers... everybody stay safe
Anything you buy over £100 pay using your credit card for protection under Section75 if you don't like Paypal.

Wait a minute guys, PayPal isn't warm and fuzzy. I've seen them do some nasty shit such as...

  • You just started making a lot of money? We're going to freeze it for 6 months for no reason.
  • You want a PayPal debit card? You can't have one because you filed a claim against someone who scammed you once.
  • Someone scammed you and you have all your documentation in order along with IP address and satellite picture of scammer on his front lawn? Denied.
Just last month I sold someone $200 of Bitcoin. The person sent me the money and before releasing the coin I called PayPal and asked the woman "This person is buying Bitcoin from me. Can you please take a look at their account and let me know if this is a safe transaction for me to do?"... "Yes sir, it's safe for you to go ahead and send the Bitcoin to this person." I release the Bitcoin and about 10 minutes later, BAM! PayPal dispute. I provided screenshots and mentioned the conversation I had with PayPal customer service but it didn't matter. Money gone.

PayPal also lobbies the government to shut down their competition. The bastard PayPal is relentless and uncaring. My main processor is Stripe. I only process PayPal for my customers on special request.

Man, this is so horrible. Paypal is such a disgusting company.
But guess what? if paypal can hit us, we can hit them hard too!
Time to make a bunch of stealth accounts and show them who's the boss.

Most payment processors do not offer protection for digital goods, only sell bitcoin using cash in person.

I've been working with paypal for almost 8 years with very few problems. Always track customer IPs, do your background checks, dont just accept a payment no matter how tempting it looks because it may just come back to bite you in the ass a few months later.

Why not go with Bitcoin instead of wasting your time on obsolete plastic money :) ?

Tell me about it man, I opened up a new business paypal account about a month back, after doing 100k+ in transactions on another paypal account which could clearly be linked.

Since the account was new after about 1k in transactions they froze the entire paypal account and I was literally only able to send 5$ at a time. Unable to use my amex for almost any transaction and bank account transfer would take lik 15 days to transfer. After calling , all they say is " its our system that flags it cause its new, all you can do is wait"

They cause so many headaches. AND this was after i proved my identity and provided all documents for my business and verified all bank accounts and cards.

2checkout doesn't allow selling tangible items ? 2checkout + Payoneer sounds like a fast way to get the money and avoid national taxes .
