PayPal holds and dropshipping?

First I'll explain my situation: I've sold a few things on eBay but have the 21 day holding period still. Money is tight right now so I don't have any available funds to purchase items for resale outright, so dropshipping is looking attractive, if the price is right (no replicas, though). I don't think my PayPal hold applies to any other site but eBay, but the alt auction sites have little traffic by comparison, and I don't yet have the skills or talent to develop my own site and get traffic to it and can't afford to outsource it. I've heard Amazon really doesn't like dropshipping and they'd probably put a hold on a newbie like me too. So, can anyone use a dropshipper in a situation like this? And this is probably a silly question, but would any dropshippers, like, let you wait until the PayPal hold ends to pay them?

With the previous items you sold on ebay what shipping service did you use to print the shipping label?

Before the PayPal hold I used a debit card funded by PayPal sales on the USPS site or PayPal itself; after the hold, I just printed directly from eBay/PayPal.

Ok. The best way I have found to get rid of the various holds on Paypal are to always use paypal to purchase the shipping label and to make sure the tracking information is listed on ebay. If you purchase shipping outside of paypal make sure you get a tracking number and input that manually into ebay for the item you sold. Also try to get this all done within 24hrs (basically asap). Doing this allowed me to get the paypal hold reduced to 3 days from delivery confirmation and then to funds available immediately. I was able to get the hold lifted after only about 30 days from my first sale.

better to sell some stuff from around the house first to build feedback and get the holds removed then move onto dropshipping when holds removed

Well the holds aren't because I'm a new user with no feedback. I've been selling on eBay on various accounts since 2003 but I think the holds are because a few item-not-received disputes last year. This year has been much calmer but the holds are still there.

You have to do everything you can to ensure a quick smooth and complete transaction. Always get and submit tracking numbers to ebay. If you've done everything right this yr then I would call them and ask them about lifting the hold.

i'm agree with cburton81 .
always get and submit tracking numbers is a must for ebay seller for avoiding dispute for scam buyer and anything which cause your account limited
