Paypal Hold Workaround

Hey all, I havent been online for wow... quite awhile! Been busy with summer university courses and all, but right before I got busy I was doing some drop-shipping.

After returning I still see that paypal money holds are a problem, so I am wondering if people have found little ways to work around them yet?


What I always did in the past was just previous to listing an item on ebay, transfered however much money I needed to my paypal account so I could buy items from wholesalers ASAP, and then when they receieve it (ASAP) I would get the money removed from a hold. I would still end up with profits of course and then just keep upscaling from my money which was already available to be "'insta'-used".

Still the best sort of method? I know some people say to use alternate payment methods etc. but if you begin to re-sell/dropship replicas coming from China or wherever, and only accept alternate payments you will start to lose customers and look like a scammer lol.


Inputs/Comments/Suggestions anyone?

That is the "Reserve Method" many people are starting to use, myself included. A lot of people who were undercutting competition with dropshipped goods and hardly making a profit after fee's were insta-screwed when PayPal really began placing the 21 day hold on the funds.

I always have a $4,000 "Reserve Amount" in all of my PayPal accounts. As soon as a customer orders an item, I use my reserve amount to purchase the item and have it sent to my customer. When feedback is left on eBay, or there is proof of shipping and the item has been marked as delivered, I receive the money.

Yeah try refunding your customer one cent and the hold usually gets released.

Used to work a year ago, I've heard of it not working anymore.

refunding dont work anymore, get your DSR up

the refund trick DID work. i used it over 20 times. it has not worked since 2009, however. get a merchant account, say goodbye to paypal and its problems forever. its a little bit of work to get a merchant account, but it is the most important aspect of doing business on that site right now. do it. thank me later!

You mean you got limited? BTW, The funds will be released after 180 days. or you can photoshop the documents.

paypal is a SCAM, they screwed me with $ 6720 ,
its hold since 34 days
Buyer got product, left ++ feedback
Still payment is on HOLD
I called up
they are ALWAYS ready with
scammy stories abt buyer protection
bla bla

BEWARE PAYPAL USERS
