paypal help please

Im sorry to ask but where did you got this from?

This is definitely not true for US Paypal. I dont know how would it be in other countries, but this doesnt apply for US at all.

You can always use Friends and Family payment but not in a regular basis.
I'm from Russia. If I transfer money to russian paypal account it has no fees. I thought it works in US too (

I think it's free if you pay with your paypal balance or bank account only.
That's correct. If you send a FnF payment using credit/debit card, there's around 4% fee, which actually doesn't make it worth to use FnF in that case. Although if you top your PayPal balance up from your bank account, you can send the FnF payment using your PayPal balance, in that case there are no fees unless there's currency conversion involved, but that's a different question.

Paypal is awful, I generally use Google wallet but a client sent me 200 on paypal as friends and family.
Now that s a verified account, never been in trouble etc.. (well i rarely use it).
Anyway when I went to withdraw yesterday, I got a message that for security reasons, they hsf to check the transaction and it would take up to 24 hrs.
Freaking thieves, think how much interest they earn on our money every time they delay payments.
Paypal sucks.

Got my money. I understand that options might be limited in some Countries such as India but if you are in the US, do yourself a favor and use paypal as little as possible.
Personally, I like Google Wallet. You will avoid a LOT of drama.

I heard that Ebay was dumping paypal, hopefully it will make things easier for vendors.
The kind of BS I just went through really would make me think twice about selling on Ebay.

Oh yeah, I had also paid a quarter to get my money transferred immediately to my card and guess what, I got charged anyway. I know that a quarter is nothing but if they pull that crap on let's say one million people a week, that a cool million buck they steal from their customers every month!!!! Off my soap box, rant over.
