Background:

  • Received a $1k payment yesterday
  • Was very happy :D
  • Woke up today, realized PayPal was limited
  • Cried
  • Did the 3 steps it asked me to do http://prntscr.com/yfj2c

Now what? Are PayPal employees assholes, while even though I did the 3 steps will STILL keep my account limited? Or will they put it back to normal once they look it over and see I'm a good fellow.

I had recently opened the account about a week ago and this was my 2nd transaction.
Had any of you had success getting your account "un" limited?

EDIT: How long did it take them to restore your account?

I think you will be fine once they have reviewed everything. The verification they were asking for was pretty basic.
 
I was fine after going through the Review process.
If it is legit, there's nothing to be afraid of :)
 
Got my acc limited twice. I was aksed to upload card ID copy, once it is uploaded I called them, got few basic questions related to the account, and then the staff cleared the limit. the 2nd time it's limited, I just called them and since I already had my ID copy with them, they just clear the limit. I don't know if you can call them on weekend, worth a try.

No worries just like everyone said. Happened before and if your account is legit it will be fine. This happened to me when I logged on to my account with a proxy, so you might want to be aware of that as they might consider it suspicious activity and that the information you provided them is not real.

If this is not the case than I am sure you will be fine once you contact them.

Those who have been limited, how long (business days) did it take to get it restored?
 
You're a lucky man.

If you ever have a previous account banned or limited you have no chance of ever getting a new one all legit and verified. Unless you are willing to get a new address, bank accounts and so on...I really wish I hadn't opened an account when I was under-age lol
 
Whether using legit or good faux verification methods, always set the account up with pre-verified bank, card, SSN, and location data, as it chops down the amount of things they will ask for verification of if/when they limit you. And ALWAYS expect a limitation if there is an unusual transaction in your account.
 
I had mine limited so many times.... just give them what they want and youre good. provided of course your account is legit.
 
just call Paypal customer care they will fix ur account limited problem.yesterday its happend with me my account is legit but after i call them , under 1 hour they removed my paypal limitation meg from my account.
