Paypal got limited, bank statement problem

Hello guys, today my paypal account got limited. I have been using it for the past 3 years. There were 3 bank accounts added to this paypal. One was my original bank account(same owner as on paypal) which is used for the past 2 years but it doesn't exist any more and i have no access to it.

The other 2 accounts belong to my 2 different friends. During last month i withdrew some amounts more than usual to the bank account of one of my friend.


Now paypal is asking for Photo ID, address and Bank statements. I already have sent photo ID and address confirmation but i am unsure about bank statements. I am curious that if i send the bank statements of my friend's accounts then they will not lift the limit on my account and will make it permanently banned. And i don't have access to my own bank account which is listed in paypal. Any idea what should i do?


Do they verify bank account information from banks?

How can i get through this problem?

Suggestions will be highly appreciated!

I have had my account limited in the past and it was enough to just give them the Photo ID. I'm guessing they might be asking for the bank statements because of your multiple accounts and they may be suspicious of something. Honestly, I would send in one bank statement for yours and see if they lift it. It's more work for them to have to verify 3 bank statements and they may just take your Photo ID and one bank statement without a second thought. I wouldn't raise the issue first and hopefully you'll be able to skate by without them looking into things to closely. Otherwise, you might want to try and close out those other accounts and open a new account with a different business checking, if you can get a DBA etc. Better to close out the extra accounts than risk your account being banned and not being able to open another account.
 
I recommend you call them, they are actually really helpful and will do things to make the process easier for you.
 
and theywill still ask you for the bank statements. Just send them what they want, I`ve sent them a lot of ridiculous stuff, like bills and IDs and bank statements and so forth..
 
Dude i truly hope you get this all worked out. But i hope you have learned your lesson dealing with paypal. It took me 2400$ to learn not to use them..
There use to be a site that duplicated their style and let ppl flame or something. www.paypalsucks.com, Maybe you can find some information there that can help you.

On another note if you do send in ur friends bank statements edit the name and put your own. Or just let your friend say the account is his. in my experience they will use w.e they can to keep your money. Be-careful..
 
They can't actually validate the transactions of the bank statements as far as I know, so you'll just need a copy of your friend's most recent banks statement...

Although, if the name on your bank account does not match the name on your paypal it's going to raise some serious questions. Really they should have flagged your account much earlier given after the first bank account dropped off and you used the second one. I guess maybe they are only validating that the account number works and perhaps not actually using the name on the account.
 
Do not give them any information, they just use that to ensure that you can't create another account.

What they're doing is holding your cash, allowing it to build interest in an account of theirs somewhere, then they'll return it after 180 days or whatever it is.

Paypal are some of the biggest crooks around.

Till now I know that you can add another guys card to your paypal. Is that true ?
 
Alright paypal are a fucking assholes and they close my account for 6 months.

Guys can you tell me best merchant that accept paypal shit.

2checkout taking days to approve the site.

Oh great, my PayPal account is limited. I hope the don't close mine for 6 months!
 
Here's something that may be helpful for you. User "secondeye" has a service in B-S-T which can remove your PayPal limit legally. I'd suggest try contacting him.
