PayPal Fuqed Me!

One of the solutions is simply to stop using PayPal. The other is to use it only for as personal as possible transactions (like between your mother and your family). If you do something else than that - you may as well be limited for no reason at any time.

For a better alternative I recommend MoneyBookers.

If your brother in law can't get a response out of paypal customer service, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in San Jose where their HQ is. The BBB is about the only thing that will get their attention.

Ive been in the same situ with this fookers, ive had many accounts shut, for selling normal php scripts to some of my customers. Most of the times my paypal accounts have been shut they are because someones used a stolen account. Then they suspend yours, they ask you what you're using it for, then shut your account and make some rules up for why its being closed.

My opinion these days is fuck paypal and use someone else!

Yeah can't stand paypal either. A long time ago they wanted me to verify my account this was like 5 years ago, I was like ok cool. Here is everything you need, i had to give like my ssn, card info for 3 cards, bank account info, my id... a bunch of crap. Only 1 thing I couldn't do is get a card veified cuz I had lost it and the bank sent me a new one. PayPal refused to take any letterhead from the bank saying the card no longer worked. They said the ONLY WAY is to do their little verification thingy that charges your card money and you look at the transaction to get the numbers on it. Well no way I could do tnhat cuz I don't have the card anymore and it had been cancelled! They just never understood or got it, kept saying there is no other way.

So I was screwed, since then tried to make a couple merchant accounts with them, in a couple days they attached it to that old one from 5 years ago and they all been banned
