This will make it difficult for both the outsourcer, and the marketers who use their services. Anyone think we should start the Black Hat World Bank?

?Alpana Killawala, who is the Chief General Manager at the Reserve Bank of India, told Jaimon Joseph the actual reason why PayPal had to temporarily stop transactions in India: All money flowing across Indian borders is subject to two major laws. The Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and the Payments and Settlements Act of 2007. According to those laws, organizations like PayPal should have submitted themselves to scrutiny by the RBI. They hadn?t, so they were pulled up.
The Reserve Bank of India has now sent a detailed questionnaire to PayPal that they are expected to answer by April 30, 2010. If PayPal is unable to satisfy the regulators, Alpana says, ?their operations could be disrupted again.??

Today i also got mail from paypal that they are going to stop electronic transfer to Indian due to some government regulation.This bad news for all internet earner person.:o
 
Just thank god as Paypal still support your country ..

Up till now I'm living in a country where paypal is not supported :(

Of course the money also goes to her bank account from Paypal (3 days) but then she will transfer via Western Union in 24 hours at a cost of $10. Thanks for the nice tips i'am from Morocco and faced the same problem,i even don't have the 'WITHDRAW' button on my account,so i can only use it for payement.
Can you tell plz if u use proxy to check your paypal or it's safe to use your indian proxy??Any help would be appreciated,i know a should byu a gaypal account!!

stop using paypal. they have been ripping people since their existence. plenty of other ways to send/receive money!
 
Do not blame to PayPal guys.....They just followed rules & regu. of RBI.
Just bad us as Indian, that no one can help us on this issue even politicians & officers.

It very painful to receive check after 15-20 days from PayPal.

Few peoples have Blackmoney are going to problems for thousands(who are
making $$ honestly) of us.

It's the fact now accept it. Now everybody of us send email PayPal to try
start again ele. transfer & also that fucking RBI.

Its too sad news, i have got the mail from paypal on 28th about changes in withdraw.

What about alertpay ?

The reason is,

The big names of every company uses India to outsource most of thier work for very cheap. If they were to let them accept payments from all over the world via paypal they would start losing the cheap labor. So they ban paypal in India, A good example of government being ruled by rich evil company is china. China blocks Youtube for the sole fact they are turning Chinese men and women into USA consumers.
