PayPal express checkout won't connect to Shopify? PLEASE HELP

Hello everyone.
I'm trying to connect my PayPal account to the Shopify store. but get the error.
I click activate Paypal express checkout in Shopify. then I get redirected to the PayPal sign-in page to fill email.
then an error message comes up from the browser:
"Unable to access this website
paypal.com takes too long to respond."
I tried a solution that I found on this forum which was to revoke Shopify API access in PayPal then reconnect but it didn't work.
I Have tried on multiple browsers and devices including my phone with mobile data, cleared my history, cookies, and everything else. I've probably tried 30 times now with no luck.
I have two other Shopify stores connected to this PayPal account with express checkout and they had no setup issues.
If anyone knows the solution to this I would be very grateful if you share it.
In addition, I have other question:
Can one Shopify account use 2 PayPal accounts? I mean I will deactivate paypal account #1 and active by #2.

Hi bro,
I mean, I have 2 PayPal accounts. one for me and one for my wife. For example, If today I add my PayPal account to Shopify and tomorrow I deactivated it and add it again by my wife's PayPal account.
Is it okay?

It doesn't matter how many different PayPal accounts you connect to any Shopify store.

You can have 1 active PP account connected at any time - That account needs to be a business account.. Regular accounts do not work.

If its not business paypal the account will be suspended soon either on Business one

Yes this will work, Paypal and Shopify are both different things all you need is credential and you can connect whichever account you want, only 1 at a time.

You trying to connect 2 paypal at same time ? if not i say when you deactivate just wait for 1-2 hr before adding another paypal
