I'm selling virtual products.

There's a dishonest customer who created a dispute.

I'm 100% sure he has received the product but he opened a dispute with a fake reason just to try to get his money back.

So I just answered to him with proofs that he has correctly received the product.

Now he is not answering anymore but the dispute is still open.

What will happen after those 20 days exactly ?

The money will still be blocked until someone ask Paypal's point of view or where will it go ?

Thanks,

If you've sent all the proofs and they are genuine, then your money will be safe, and you'll get them after the dispute is solved.

So you mean in 20 days, if no one calls Paypal, they will come themselves to chose ?

Did they go through their bank to claim an "Unauthorized Transaction"?

I just recently had someone buy a virtual product from me and claim they never received it, even though they did.
They have purchased 5 times before from me, live chatted, before and after purchasing this most recent time, and from the same IP the purchase/chat was made from. I took screenshots of all of this and submitted through the PayPal claim. They are obviously just trying to rip me off because the virtual product I can't take back after it's been sent, and now they are wanting their money back, just so they can get it for free.

Fortunately/unfortunately, PayPal is on my side and believe they aren't telling the truth, however since they went through their bank to handle the "Unauthorized Transaction", PayPal has to fight with their bank to get my money back, and won't cover me for it, and charged me a $20 chargeback fee because they went through their bank to file the dispute. So it seems like if PayPal doesn't get my money back I have lost an additional $20 for trying to get it back ha. It doesn't make sense and I wish PayPal would take care of the seller more, especially for "Digital Goods".

Sounds like you may be in luck if the buyer is not replying, they never gave the buyer a chance to speak after I sent my proof.

Good luck!

I stopped prepossessing virtual products directly through PayPal because of scammers, you need a specific type of payment possessor that has the capability's to handle such goods or you risk your PayPal account every time. Here is what happens when your selling virtual products through PayPal. scammers, hackers and cracker steal PayPal accounts and purchase your products, like "software" and then crack the software and sell it as there own, they will do this for every update you make to your product and request refunds over and over and once your account gets to many of these they close the account. Here are a few suggestions to use instead. PayPro Global, Avangate, Click2Sell etc.... these work great for software, virtual products like ebooks etc... Here is a reference that you should read about this matter that may shed some light on what I'm referring to
