PayPal complaint

I have a PP acct that i setup for a BH project. I got paid from the affiliate program for doing free leads but they filed a complaint with PP saying I ripped them off. The $ that i got was transferred out of PP already.

Now, does anyone have any experience with these complaints and PP? I've been ignoring the complaint but the deadline is coming due and PP says if I don't respond they will rule in favor of the complainant. I de-linked my bank acct but what can PP do?

CLose the account and then paypal will have to refund the person money, aslong as you don't use that email address again they can't do anything. If you do open a pp account with that email address you will have -$XXX <-- amount that was complained about. Just open a new pp account with different email address and stuff!

By 'stuff' do you mean you will have to falsify the other registration details as well?

Well there you go. You were defrauding the affiliate and they caught you. Feel lucky that you got the money out of PP already, otherwise the money would've been put in limbo. You either dispute it, demanding proof from the affiliate via the paypal arbitrator or ignore it, forget that account ever existed and move on.

To close a paypal account go to my account, profile, close account!

Ha ha ha digital nope all i did was google "close a paypal account" and this had sold a phone on ebay and then closed his account then the guy demeanded a refund but coz he had no paypal account anymore paypal themselves had to pay the buyer!

Depends... If the way you did the offers doesnt scream FAKE LEADS, (i.e used different IPs not all proxys, had realistic conversion rates, etc), you could try to dispute the complaint.

As for removing the bank account info, I am not sure to what extent this helps. I know in the past, PayPal would deduct money from your bank account if they reversed a transaction and the money was no longer in the PP account, not sure if they do this anymore though.

Maybe some advice for next time. If you need to do something "BlackHat"... set up a PP account with fake info, and then transfer the funds to your "real" account with a memo like "Thanks for the website design! Looks great" or whatever. Yes, technically, they can still follow where the money went, but they usually only reverse the transaction in that case if the money was phished from someones account or a fraudulent cc was used to pay.
