I got scammed yesterday trying to buy a license, I sent the payment as family and friends, i called up paypal and filed a dispute and they said if the guy doesn't respond in 10 days then i get a full refund I doubt he will respond, but if he does respond trying to lie i have the skype logs screenshotted,

I think i have a good chance of wining, I just wanted to hear other people who have charged back a personal payment and how it turned out for you.

is it a virtual product? if it is paypal does not cover that so you will get your money back. i seldom have trouble winning disputes, just deliver on your word(or policy's) and you will be fine

Paypal literally never refunds money on virtual items or currencies, I speak from experience and charge backs can be a bitch when your powerless, that's why I moved to bitcoin.

Thanks guys, yeah its a virtual item, Its been two days and he hasn't responded to the claim. and i don't think he will just gotta wait the 10 days and i will get the money back. I learned to be a lot more careful with who i send money to now.
I think since i am the buyer i will most likely win anyway plus i have the skype screenshots incase they need proof
