In paypal you can make various custom buttons, I'm just wondering what shows up on the customers credit card statement.

Lets say, if I had a donate button for xxx website . com and they were to donate would their CC statement reflect what I put the button was for?

Also, is there a way to hide your email address on the top of the screen during their checkout?

i too would be interested in this...

also , if u emailed the donation link, is it poss. to hide the fact the donation is gift rather then payment for a service, meaning they are sending u a gift not something they can charge back on . i sell cigarettes , i dont want ppal to know so im look for options.

It would probably come up as whatever you labeled the button as when you created it.

I have been thinking of charging customers activation fees through a paypal button as opposed to paying for a CC terminal. I just dont want their statement to show XXX@hotmail.com - 50$

Its really easy to see... Create a button in the amount of 0.01 thats as low as you can go and pay yourself from your creditcard. And see exactly how it will look like.

    yeah, good point.
The other question though, does anyone know a way to hide your email address over the top of the checkout?
