Now that I have passed the human verification and successfully registered on this fantastic forum.... I am wondering if somebody has an idea about the paypal verification.

Basically I set up a paypal business account, although I don't actually have a business.
Because I want to sell online and want checkout to appear professional for customers.

Now I see there are limits on the money I can receive... so I must verify the account type

1. Individual consumer
2. sole proprietor
3. Other business

ok I don't have any business details so I want to select individual and send my passport copy to lift the limits.
Bear in mind my paypal account is already a business paypal account.

Just wondering does anybody have experience of selecting individual and using the account to sell online?
At the end of the day all I want is a professional way for people to pay me... I don't want them to click checkout and suddenly see they are sending money to johnny wang.

Any ideas on this or better suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Just choose sole proprietor and then use your personal information for the business info too. That works and not every business is large. You are not even required to have a business license to make a business PayPal. Make sure you have a tax ID though.
