Paypal banned... No reason

I've said it many times and I'll say it again, Stop Using GayPal People ;)

They can do whatever they want with your money. You even agree to pay them upto $2500 for getting your account locked...tsk tsk, shady terms...lol

Well they didn't just randomly spin a wheel and your name came up for a "Surprise Monday Ban!".

There is always a reason.. so give us a little more insight on what happened leading up to your ban.

until of course they decide to ban your account one day

my word i hate paypal, i think its part of their business model to hold peoples money for interest and in some cases just plain steal it. id love to work for paypal, just think of all the money you could pilfer :dancing:
they have some of my money too, good luck

Galpal does just seem to spin a wheel and pick accounts at random. A while back I had several accounts limited for the same bullshit reasons. I was not doing anything their TOS. Nor conducting anything shady in any way, shape, or form.

One of my accounts had over 12k in it. 180 days later, I withdrew all my funds. Those accounts are still open today. I can actually log in. I can't pay other users with it, but I can add funds. WTF?

Send them your additional information. Unless you-
-are an illegal immigrant
-are a Con-artist
-are scamming people
are selling illegal services
-are a Nigerian
-are under 18

...I don't see why you can't just send them the requested info. WHAT ARE YOU HIDING!

I'm not HIDING anything from them. They did send me that email, and then said because of suspicious activity, we're terminating our business with you. I would gladly give them any information they needed. They never asked for a single thing other than saying that.

and also they always ban new paypal accont :D with same subject "Surprise Monday Ban!"
i always get it when i regis on friday.

Mine got limited, but there are no things to resolve in the 'complaint centre'. I think it might have something to do with EPN.. still had 2.5k in it :(

You had several accounts? Is that not against TOS?

I've been banned before, got over $2K in my account at the moment, I think I'm going to withdraw it before it's too late!!!

better if you withdraw with when u got balance $200-$500. dont put to much money on gaypal if you do something ilegal from ur computer / ip :D

I know that when someone gets banned, of course they never did anything to condone their accounts and oh of course they never went against the ToS..

The fact is, a lot of people have accounts with fake information, or create multiple accounts. No one will actually tell you what they were really doing with their accounts. Like I've said in another thread.. Blackhat is Blackhat for a reason.. now maybe you are unfortunate and you did get a random ban, but I highly doubt it.

Every one's always bragging about their BH tactics and methods until their PayPal is banned, then all of a sudden they're the most white hat people in the world who had no reason to had their account banned. Now, I'm not saying every one who's ever had a ban deserved it, but I'm just saying a lot of people leave a lot of details out.

You had several accounts? Is that not against TOS?

Yes, it is but they didn't know that I had multiple accounts. In fact I had at the time about 30. 5 were limited in about a two month period. They were not linked in any way or they would have all been banned at once. I still have the others accounts also. I still conduct business with all of them. I just don't leave any money in most of them anymore. There really is no reason to limit my accounts now. The money reaches paypal, I transfer it to my bank account, then transfer it to another account.

I think the biggest thing gaypal looks at is money laundering. If any account goes from earning 100 a day to 1000 a day in a very short time, it looks suspicious. They ban then. The government is cracking down on them.

BTW, I am sure you have never broken a TOS. You only have one account everywhere, right?

coreygeer:You actually believe that? You probably also believe not a single white hat person has been banned from egay either? It happens all the time to black and white hat.

i just had my account banned for the same bullshit no reason.

this account was 8 fuckin years old and i'm pissed about it.

on the phone the jerkoffs said "due to the risk associated with your account paypal no longer wishes to do business with you"...

so basically they will take their insane fucking fees and then close the account whenever they feel like it.

i wish there was a way to blackhat them cuz i'd like to tear them a new asshole.

blackhat can mean different things.....i mean, that's like saying your bank closes your account cuz the cop caught you driving 15 mph above the speed limit...

not everybody that uses blackhat tactics is a scammer... dropshipping is not blackhat or against paypal tos...but as it turns out, that's most likely why they banned me

as i stated in another post, a paypal supervisor said that there is nothing you can do to avoid getting your account limited/banned. that implies that you can be white as pure snow and still get your account banned if you're using it to much.

what gets me is that paypal makes it look like they're the internet's bank...w/debit cards, credit cards, plugin...but the second you show high activity, they ban your ass...

for you to assume that we did something wrong or deserved to get banned is a bit presumptuous don't you think?

unless you work with paypal....

moral of this story is - i'm never fucking using paypal again, no matter how difficult it makes life. I really wish I, or someone here was powerful enough to do something about that corrupt organization that can get away with all of the perks of being a bank, but not succumb to any downfalls.

sometimes, i close my eyes and imagine the shitty life these paypal cs reps/supervisors have.....

same here, i've got nothing to hide from them but they just stated that
on the email , they never asked for anything.

Not necessarily a reason all the time, i know people that have pp accounts and they don't even use them, only once for a specific transaction. Then PP comes up telling them their account is locked for suspicious activity. How is there suspicious activity when there's no activity at all?

when i was having my paypal problems, i gave everything paypal wanted from me....invoices of my suppliers, proof of shipping...but non of that mattered.

but like i said before...their days are numbered....

I made around $400 from one of my clients the other day and as usual he gives me his CC info I go into PayPal create a button fill in the details and get paid... After doing this for the past 2-3 years. PayPal decides that they are going to hold my money on this transaction until they can investigate if it's a legit charge. I had to have my client call Pay Pal and tell them that I am authorized to charge his card.
