Paypal anonymity?

Hey, I run an online service and my account recently got frozen due to the fact that I have another account with a negative balance, and that someone filed around a $2000 chargeback.

Since my account is basically shut down, I had to open a new temporary account (I had over $4000 in the old account). I have to wait six months to be able to withdraw this money from my paypal account.

My next question is, can I open up a new bank account at a local bank institution and put in completely fake information but still add the bank account which is under my real name? Will paypal have access to that name?

For instance, if my name was John Smith, I'd go to the bank and open up an account with the name John Smith. Then I'd sign up for a paypal account with the name Ryan Barker, and add John Smith's bank account to the Ryan Barker paypal account.

Would it be possible to withdraw money doing this? I live in Canada. Are there any other alternatives? Thanks!

Yes you can withdraw money to a bank account with a different name

To your first question, you can add a bank account that's not consistent with the name on the PayPal account but the problems would occur with your bank, not PayPal. If your bank sees a large amount being sent to your account that isn't under your name, they may decline the withdrawal.

Hmm i'm also very interested in the solution to this scenario as I'm in a similiar one but UK based..i can't withdraw the money from my limited paypal

Opening up a bank account in a fake name is a bad idea.
