Hey there. I've seen the feedback Paypal gets, so I would like to use a different payment processor when I start my business. But the problem with this is that customers trust paypal more and conversion rates are higher. Another factor would be how the payment websites look.

Some of you must have split tested different payment processors to see which ones give the best results so you don't have to use Paypal anymore. Care to share your experiences?

Also if any of you have any payment processors recommendations or bad experiences (other than with Paypal) I'd appreciate it very much to hear about them too.

I use Plimus to take orders from my clients. Plimus is really good as its accepts major payments from PayPal, Moneybookers, American Express, Credit card etc.. Its free to join..

The best part is you can take payment and also set email newsletter or any thing to your client email address when he purchase your product from plimus cart.

I recommend Plimus over 2co and others.. Never try 2CO. I really hate them and ran away when i tried it once.
 
Yes, Plimus is really good over others and their fraud check is cool still dumb slow.
 
So Plimus is reliable but what about conversions vs Paypal?
 
what are you selling and what is the average ticket price? there are a lot of good 3rd party billers out there that take a percentage of the transaction, but don't charge a transaction fee. Depending on the transaction fee, that can actually cost you more than using a 3rd party. Plus, 3rd party billers don't typically charge for declines, refunds etc. Companies like ccbill, segpay and paycom offer 3rd party options with carts.
 
just checking that Plimus is only for digital products is that right?

if its a physical product then they are not an option?
