What alternatives to PayPal do you like to use to pay for services here on BHW?

PayPal is popular which makes it great for business but they can be frustrating

Less popular alternatives are:
Payoneer
Cryptocurrency
Cashapp

There are actually tonnes of alternatives but most of them are very geocentric and/or unregulated. That's the problem.
They could go bust and peoples desperate microlaundering methods will disappear into thin air along with their deposits. Probably not worth risking an exist scam.

If I don't have to choose then I'd go for Stripe.

I had a call with customer support some time ago, and they deliberately compared themselves to PayPal on the fraud risk and disputes management point of view.

At the end of the day, PayPal gives more flexibility as you can pay with PayPal funds in case you have an account - not to forget that Stripe compensates with GPay.

I've heard that Stripe is conquering more countries nowadays...

Never used PayPal. Always used BTC and I never had any problems with it. If you’re rich enough or have the resources you could create a Stripe account.

Payoneer, Transferwise, BTC - These are the best alternatives for Paypal.

I see a lot of you are saying BTC. That's Bitcoin, right? Doesn't the price of Bitcoin fluctuate too much for it to be used as a stable payment method? Seems like Tether Coin or TrueUSD would be better suited for payment, no? Just curious...

Stripe

Your customer just need a credit card and this small little box will popup with no 3D secure require.

Much easier & convenient than PayPal.

For buyers I doubt that there are something better than than PayPal.

Dispute system makes it one of the safest payment platforms. If you get scammed, like it happens a lot even here on BHW (based on the shitlist) you will 99% win claim for chargeback.

For sellers PP might be true hell and I’d prefer Skrill or BTC. Not sure about skill atm tho, because used it a while ago.

paypal Alternative are

Stripe

2checkout

webmoney
perfectmoney
there are many others gateways but popular is paypal that's why people using it

Plenty of alternatives, it's up to us if we tolerate their unfair behaviour or move on.
