My paypal account got closed and they say that I can never open an account with the same information. So would I have to open a new bank account? How would this affect the Social Secruity part of this process? Really worried since I have a lot of information I NEED on that paypal account for software licenses. It got closed cause I am 16 and not 18(tried applying for Paypal Debit card.)

Should I call and beg them to let me get some information from it? During this time I would erase the bank info, card, and other

Calling them isnt going to do you any good. If your 16 there terms of service state you cannot open a paypal account. Sorry to say but Paypal is well within it's power to close your account if your 16.

I know this...is there a way around it is what I am looking for

Just call them, you will get something

Honestly I seriously doubt it, unless maybe you get one of your parents to call and say that some of their subscription info was also tied into that account. Other than that I dont think you have any options at all when they close a account.

They would be pleased to give you information from that account. Just call them

So how they came to know that you are 16 not 18. Did you tell them?

Yes, other than having your parents try to finagle something for you, I think you may be out of luck.

You aren't legally able to have a PayPal account at 16 without parent/guardian legal consent. You will need a parent/guardian to sign up for an account and add you. PayPal's minimum age is 13, but you do need consent from whoever is legally responsible for you.

Or ask your older brother/sister if you hesitate to ask your parents...

You can do nothing. I called them up with nothing fruitful. Just open another account using your mother's / father's identity (or anyone else you trust). I used the same address lol. It worked for me and i have not been banned after that..

The best thing you can do is find a ay to make money online which has nothing to do with paypal. They purposely go out their way to cause trouble for their customers.

PayPal is a necessary evil wannabe

To have your information back, calling them should do. I mean they closed the account because you were too young, not because you were frauding... No reason to not give simple info.
To have a new Paypal, like many said, like I also did at first when I was not 18, ask your family.
