sry English is not my native language but hope you will understand what I am talking about:
yesterday I get this kind of message on my PayPal account: PayPal account access is limited - need to send: proof of address, changing password and security question.
Was doing all of this stuff but today its not ok my account.
I have been reading that PayPal is holding funds for 180 days. Is this was happening now for me also or do they open my account?

From which country you are from i recently unblocked my paypal by a pure blackhat way lol may be after watch ur reply i can help !

I am from easten europe.
I quess that they will remove this limitation if will send them proof of address but if not then will contact by you.
I was posting this question because I have been reading that PayPal is holding funds for 180days and wanted to know is this 180days means this limited account or its something else!?
Maybe they juts ask more papers because lately have been coming big sums. Will see!

Do what they've asked for. These proofs are generally asked when your paypal is accessed from a proxy.


Edit: I've had same thing happened with me. Followed instructions, and paypal lifted limits from my account within 6 hours.

I ran into this problem and I think it was because of the pay pal plugin
I just verified the steps and the phone number and it was good 2 go
it's no big deal just a pain in the @ss

it depends on your activity...as i good remember some after 180 days allow to withdraw money and paypal will block your account forever....some as someone said can be unblocked within 6 hours or some can be still alive after 180 days...you should call to them after you will send them more proofs etc etc search in google "paypal sucks"...there is a forum about it

Send them what they ask for and you should get the account back unless it specifically says there is a 180 day hold. If that is the case, I wouldn't have much hope for the account. The 180 days excuse is, according to them, to give time for the people who sent you money to be able to dispute any charges. In reality it's just a way for them to accrue interest on your money. Very corrupt.

same thing just happened to me today..thats why it broughts me to this site..im trying to search how can i remove my paypal limited access..and this ive found from u..i just cant exactly understand the instructions uve post..hope its ok to ask u how to do exactly those instruction..thanks hope to got your answer as soon as possiblethank u and god bless...

You need to provide them the information they ask for. It is easiest to call because they ask for less information that stated online. If photoshop is needed then use it. Get creative
