Payoneer is in the process of proving address .... so its asking for Bank statement or utility bill etc. Now they refused my bank statement and now I am left with Utility bill which I can’t get bc I am living with my family. Meaning everything is paid in my family’s name and not mine. What do I do now?

Why didn't they accept your bank statement? Did it contain your address? Even I used a bank document.
I think address verification affects only the Payoneer card. Without the address verification account will be fine but your card will be deactivated.
If you really want the card, then somehow you will have to send an accepted document with your address on it. There is no other way around.

Just can't use the card, the rest is ok. I'm tied of working with them, they reject the only statement I have because it is not in 3 months back (it is in 12 months). Anyway, let them remove the card, I can't use it for upwork payments - the only thing I intended when decided to make the card.

You don't even have a cell phone bill in your name? You can switch one of them easily to be your name but you will have to wait for the next statement. Also curious as to why they wouldn't accept your bank statement.. feels like you're leaving something out

scan documents and upload for them and if still have issues try to take pic of your utility bill and it will work

| Their response says “ unfortunately the type of document you sent does not match our request” My guess is it doesn’t have zip code and that is because we don’t use zip codes in Ethiopia! Will they understand if I tell them so? I don’t think so bc almost all countries use it. What do we do now? But I found some organization that understands no zip code countries and it is the Dv lottery center. There is an option for that if you don’t have it. Sure I will contact them but my past experience is they don’t reply fast. I used to enjoy their live chat support in the past. I think it is discontinued now. |
Ok finally it worked and this is how. I went to the bank and asked them to add the number I added in Payoneer as zip code when I signed up years ago. They agreed and added the Zip code in my bank statement. There was also a spelling error in my name in the previous document (It was one s but should have been double s ) so they fixed that too. it has no effect on the pronunciation though.
So after 4 or 5 days they have verified my acct. Thank you Jesus!
