Special condolences to our colleagues from countries with high income taxes, like Canada, Germany, and the Scandinavian countries, especially if they earn decent amounts through Upwork and, for some reason, use Payoneer for withdrawals. The whole process feels like a robbery at every stage: Upwork’s fees, Payoneer’s fees for deposits and withdrawals, their bank’s fees for receiving payments and currency conversion, and finally, a 30-55% income tax. By the end of it, the poor person might be left with only 35% of what they earned through their hard work.Man, I`m 9 years with them(no other options available) and they're getting worse and worse over the years. Fees, taxes, users data leak in 2021 or 2022...
Sick and tired.
