So about 2 weeks ago I sent this son of a bitch $100 with Payoneer for something.

Afterwards he ignored me for days, eventually he replied and told me he couldn't deliver, I should wait a few days, then proceeded to ignore me again. We communicate on Facebook. And now I think he muted me on Facebook, as when I try to send him a message I get something like "This person isn't available at the moment."

Yesterday I contacted Payoneer on live chat and asked if anything can be done to get my money back. I was literally scammed, totally scammed. The Payoneer representative on the live chat was courteous and polite, he understands everything, etc. He told me he forwarded it to their payments department and I will get a reply within 1-3 days. But I am left with a 50/50 feeling on them giving me the money back.

Did anyone else have an experience with Payoneer and trying to do a chargeback like this or any similar situation?

Alright so I had a similar issue a couple of years ago and that was the time I knew Payoneer doesn't offer chargebacks.

Again that was 2 years ago, not sure how things are now but really hope you get things sorted out.

rule 1 of facebook buying selling.

1 - if your buying - cash for item person to person only
2 - if your selling - item for cash person to person only

no paypal no bank transfer and no western union bs
follow rules 1/2 you will never get scammed again

Yeah I know they don't offer chargebacks like Paypal do. But still I went out and got on the live chat and talked to one of their representatives about the situation.

He did ask me if I sent the payment as "Request a payment" or "Send money" option. And I sent it with the send money option. I imagine he asked me that because if it was a "Request a payment" option I could go to my credit card company and do a chargeback like that.

Anyway after I told him it was the send money option he told me it's harder to do anything about it in that case. But anyway he forwarded it to the payments department and I should get a reply within 1-3 days.

Ufff this sucks.

The issue is that sometimes you need to process some overseas transactions, could be online services and all that. You can't pay these face to face.

@Scorpion Ghost from what I know Payoneer doesn’t have chargeback, the only thing you can do is pray he delivers, if not then report scam his profile if it was original he’ll be badly affected by its loss.

Here's the thing though. There's a thing :D

For some reason Payoneer took 4 working days to clear this payment. It's like they knew something was dodgy here.

And not only that, but on day 2 I actually contacted them asking them to cancel the payment. I figured it was still pending, they have the ability to cancel it. They reply to me on the 5th day telling me they can't cancel it, it has been approved, I should work it out with the seller.

Well excuse me, but I contact you and 2 days later you approve the payment and then you tell me you can't cancel it? No good.

I gave the reference number of that ticket to the Payoneer representative on live chat, and he told me he will include it with the information he'll send the payment department.

So I feel like that makes my case a little stronger you know. And them taking 4 days to approve the payment (usually it only takes a few minutes to a few hours) also tells me maybe the profile I sent the money to is already in some bad standing or maybe brand new or something.

So there are these 2 things to consider which I believe work in my favor and may help the situation.

Yeah, maybe I do that in the end, open a shit list and put his profile and email on here, just to make his info searchable in Google and prevent anyone else going through the same shit.

Not sure you can open it this way all will open a sl against their ex for wasted time, and etc point his if he’s not on this forum don’t bring it here. Use HAF and have 100 fb accounts report his posts, page, profile as spam fb will take him down. Ps you get scammed very often, be careful with your money man

What do you mean I get scammed very often? This is the second time in my 6 years of working online. 2 times in 6 years is not very often, far from it.

I think this is the perfect place to bring it because this forum ranks very well on Google, and if anyone ever searches for his info on Google they will find it if it's posted here and know to stay away.

So your advice is I use the HAF and spend even more money on top of the $100 I already spent? :D No man that's a waste. Besides his Facebook profile is probably fake. But his Payoneer email probably isn't!

I am happy to say that Payoneer refunded me the money, showing once again that they are superior to Paypal and the best payment processor in the world currently!

What happened was after I contacted them about it... okay, I had to contact them about it twice, the first time around they did nothing.... but after I contacted them the second time a few days went by and all of a sudden the scammer started talking to me again, apologizing, giving me a sob story of how he was scammed for $1,200 by somebody, all this kind of stuff.

Then he wanted to pay me back with Paypal. I said NO! Pay me so you can do a chargeback later? Do I look like a sucker to you, scammer? I refused of course.

Then he wanted to provide me the service I bought from him, but about 60% of it. I thought about it for like half a second, and said no, I want my money back.

Eventually he agreed to give me my money back on Payoneer, but unfortunately he didn't have money in his Payoneer account, so if I want money back in Payoneer I should wait 5 days. I said ok.

At this point the scammer was very responsive and very polite and very apologetic. All of a sudden his English improved a little bit (but he was still a dumbass). It's funny how that happens :D

Then he contacts me 2 days later saying $100 is ready to send me. But he will send me from another Payoneer account, not his. Because his Payoneer is not allowed Payoneer to Payoneer payment, he said. That didn't make perfect sense to me, but I said ok.

He also asked me after he sends me the money to contact Payoneer support and "fix the problem." I told him I would when he sends me the money. I really would, I don't care about him, I just want my money back. And if I get it, I'll send Payoneer an email, sure. I'm not a piece of shit like this scammer.

He said he would send the money within 1 hour.

About 8 hours went by and I sent him a message asking what happened. He said he's sorry, his friend didn't answer his phone call, he already sent his friend the money to send me. I told him that Payoneer will close the case in 1-3 days, and if they do before he sends me the money, he could lose his Payoneer account. He said "i will try my best man"

A few hours went by and Payoneer refunded me. Case Closed :)

p.s at this point I hope this guy loses his Payoneer account and all his fake accounts and all his family member accounts and I hope his world comes crashing down on his head. The dummy wanted to scam me for $100 bucks instead of doing legit business with me and earn hundreds and even thousands. Short-sighted motherfucker!

p.p.s Payoneer, you are THE BEST! Payoneer is the best fuck all the rest! (fuck paypal, they're a piece of shit)

Reading looks like crime thriller but happy end . Cheers

It was a crime thriller. Someone tried to steal $100 from me. Horrible crime, like murder almost :p

Bruv, how you keep getting that many Ls in a row? Good thing this is resolved now.

Using payoneer more than 10 years and never had any issue and their customer service is super. ( You can't compare them with others customer service.)

btw, scammer said one thing right. some type of payoneer account don't have account to account transfer.

Yes Payoneer is fantastic. Best thing since sliced bread.

Yeah I figured he may not be bullshitting me on that. But I gave him more than enough time to deliver the service. For about 10 days I sent him messages daily. He would ignore me, and often times he would actually block me on Facebook so I couldn't send him messages. He tried to scam me, he wasted my time, he blocked me, ignored me, horrible person. I hope Payoneer takes further action against him and shut him down and ban him for life.

And I don't hope that so that he sees the error of his scamming ways. I hope that because I want him to suffer, I want revenge, and stuff :) :anyway:

What do you mean Ls? That flew right over my head. I don't get it.

L = Lose :D

Your PayPal gets banned, now there's a Payoneer chargeback. You have a bad streak going for you with payment providers.

Just drop whoever you're not comfortable with. Honestly, chasing every client out there isn't worth the stress at all.
