Payments from India

Good afternoon, friends. Please tell me how to accept payments from customers from India on your site.

Please note, I'm NOT an Indian. So I can't just register Paytm, Razorpay and so on. Compot payments don't work for me either.

PayPal works in india .. u can use it

Paypal is your best option.

PayPal Payoneer is good option. However, if you have a friend over here, you can work with them to get payments on UPI based applications like GPay, PhonePe, etc and then ask him/her to transfer via the mutual transaction mode between you.

The reason I suggest UPI thing is people are slowly getting accustomed to it and it's hassle free(so is PayPal) but people are more accustomed to UPI more that's it.

This has problem and I know because I have tried this in past and it turned out to be an unhealthy practice. If you have bad partner he will ditch you someday for sure if the money is good. If you have good partner most chances are he will accept the payment for cut say 5% minimum. Then he will mostly use paypal to transfer money to you now paypal overcharges Indians with currency conversion when paying so he will show you that ask for more. Then the currency exchange rates can vary sometimes you will have to deal with that. And you will also have to pay your charges to paypal. When I did this it was a headache and it didn't tur out to be profitable for me. And if the transaction amount is big then he will also ask for more money because he will say he will have to pay Income tax on that amount. So taxes make it bad good luck if can get this method working.

An important note, friends. PayPal is also unavailable to me. It is blocked in my country. And in general Paypal is very unstable, they can ban you at any time.

As for doing business through a partner in India - as far as I know it is very strict with taxes there and far from the fact that he will be able to handle large volumes

How to use Payoneer like payment
gateway on my site? Is it possible?

Then look for other payment gateways but keep in mind don't think crypto as it is also heavily taxed in India.
