Hi Everyone..

I have a few products in a few niches.. I intend to use a pen name for some of them thus I need some services like paypal and clickbank to handle my transactions.

Here comes the big question. Is there any such services that prevent customer from seeing/knowing your real identity so that I can go a head and sell some products without letting my cutomers know my real identity?

Thanks!

Make an account on gmail then set it to auto-forward to your real email address. Sign up for paypal and clickbank with that new email address.

Hi Jonny,

Thanks for the reply..

What about the credit card details when I sign up for paypal and Clickbank? Why they show my identity or will they insist that I show them my true identity..

So sorry.. I'm a newbie who is trying to dive into a few niche markets at a same time..

Really appreciate anybodys help.. Thanks!

Sign up for PayPal with a custom e-mail such as "[email protected]" or such.

As for hiding your identity over PayPal, i'm not entirely sure if your identity is 100% safe because I honestly wouldn't feel safe doing business with a person who wouldn't even tell me their name. As long as you're being legit when it comes to selling, there's no reason to hide it.

Clickbank however, yes.. you can hide your name from the public and only they and they alone will see who you are. Now, if people are ignorant, they can always look up WHOIS information on your website, and there a lot of other ways people can find who you really are.

I need to hide my identity and use a pen name as I have a few products in a few niches..

For example.. I sell a bodybuilding ebook using my name "Jessica B" and surprisingly, I also sell others products ranging from dog training, yoga , forex, how to play piano, how to bake a cake using my real name "Jessica B"

Wouldn't that seem funny and that I'm just a nobody who comes out with all sorts of books that I have no skills in?

Do you mean only me and Clickbank can see my real identity?

I'm sure there is a way to hide the whois information as well right?

I wouldn't have thought it would have mattered if sold ebooks in all different subjects, it just means you have a lot 2 share, and secondly the chances of say 2 different ebooks being seen by 1 person are very slim, but like I said it just means you have al lot to share imo.

Just sign up to paypal as a business, or sign up, then upgrade (for free) to a business account. That is what I did. now when someone buys something from me, they just see a business name, and you can make up w.e bs name you want "Fartsmeller Inc." and that is what they will see.

Sounds good.. But are they able to track you down somehow? Will paypal protect your identity?

Can anyone share with me their experience with clickbank regarding my issue.. Especially with the using of pen name concept..

lol..Don't worry about that.
Firstly...It seems your concern is your customers finding out who the seller is.
No customer will end up on two of your sites...even if they did(0.0001%) none would mind. They probably wouldn't even remember. You are using a short name like Jessica B...There's like thousands of people with that name.

Now..If you are all paranoid..which I think is kinda wasting your time...as you should be concentrating on getting traffic...yet...if you're so paranoid then simply get a brand name..like for example JB Publishing...or Jess Publishing and register an email and paypal account with that.

seems like your planing on doing some shady stuff why would you need to hide your nmae and why are you so worried if someone can track you down. if you write ebooks under different names when people go to buy there not going to care who they pay as long as they get what they pay for. so other then you wanting to scam people i dont see whats the point

Not scamming anyone.. Just that I prefer using a pen name..

Just like anyone remember Frank Kern who uses a pen name for his dog training product and the dating guy Eben Pagen who uses a pen name too..

I really appreciate most of the replies but they are not helping at all.. Instead these replies are targetting at me accusing me of spamming..

I'm just asking for opinions and suggestions for merchants that do what I'm looking for.. Isn't this forum BlackHatters helping fellow black hatters?

can you hide your name with a premier acct too? I know about the business acct but what about a premier acct? I also want to use a pen name

Yeah.. I would love to see some helpful solutions too.. Thanks!

You can have a business and a personal paypal account, so thats two identities right there :)

heres what i would do:
make a bussiness acct w paypal and make your pen name your company name.
and if you dont want everybody to c your real name on whois just add an extra 7 bucks and make it private......
