Basically guys I need a payment processor for a risky product.

I plan to sell a high quality digital product, like those on that shit-hole clickbank. Unlike them I expect to be my own merchant and have my own shopping cart. Due to the fact that I will be dealing within the digital product realm, I am expecting there to always be a decent amount of chargebacks from -D00Sh-bags- customers. :D

I was thinking of using authorize.net, but would you guys recommend any other merchant account services for digital sellers. I want somebody who won't bunk me off as a merchant for having too many chargebacks...

    *No paypal please!

hmm...ccbill... they take like 10-15% of the loot, but they don't care about chargebacks. What you can do is try to rebill your clients after 6 months and see what happens...:p

what do you means about '' they don't care about charge backs '' ? they approve and release quite easy charge backs , there's nothing to do with any merchant service , it's visa's and mastercard regulations which they are forced to follow .

@ chickuzt , what I`m recommending you now maybe will look like '' hard '' but honestly I`m recommend you to check the features of '' fraud screening '' , for example clickandbuy have pretty nasty rules for their screening features , I don't wanna name there more companies but you can google about them and check for each one what they are saying about '' fraud screening '' , strong fraud screening services can prevent you to not have loads of chargebacks .

If anyone knows of any, please let us know. You can try any number of the CC processors outside of Paypal and you will still be hit with an extremely high level of chargebacks for digital products. The only way I can see anyone stopping this is if you required people to provide a landline phone number AND you could verify the landline phone number matched the shipping and billing address which were all the same. If you want to stop people doing chargebacks your best choice would probably be to use Liberty Reserve or one of the many similar sites. I tried another processor beyond Paypal and they were worse than paypal. The amount of people paying with stolen CC details was enormous.

no, most of the time, the cc company will decide whether the complaint is legit or not. If they cc company/merchant bank thinks that the customer's reason is legit, they will do a chargeback, i.e. not pay ccbill. CCbill can't do much about it.

Most payment processors don't allow your chargebacks to exceed 1%, you account will be terminated if that happens.... CCbill just don't care about chargebacks- you usually will have to return the cash if there is a chargeback regardless of the payment processor.

    Hey -

CCBill has handled processing high-risk transactions for downloads and subscriptions for 10 years. And while chargebacks are a fact of life - and we DO care about chargebacks :) - we don't hit our clients with chargeback fees at all.
The percentage fee is inclusive of all fees and services - except the price of the stamp to mail your check weekly.

And our Fraud Scrubbing is included in the price, and helps keep the chargeback ratio under 1% as required by VISA.
