Payment method on aliexpress

I'm going to order from aliexpress for the first time and I just found out that they don't even accept paypal...is giving away my credit card directly safe at aliexpress? and are there any safer methods?

I'm also wondering about the escrow function... Is it that trustable?

ali express is alibaby just their express site for ordering mostly like one or two items vs ordering things in lots or bulk which is what alibaba is mainly used for.

Just be careful who you order from, there is a big mix of great vendors and crappy ones who will ship you the wrong item or just take your money and run....if you are using credit card make sure you keep track of your order because if they dont ship it on time or send a wrong part or damaged item you need to dispute it quickly ... i have ordered from there several times and mainly had a good experience but have had a couple sellers with good ratings take money and run or send a wrong unit to a client etc... so be careful and do your research before ordering
