Payment Gateway ?

I just wanted to create a membership site that makes use of subscriptions on the gateways side.

While looking at the options i ended with PayPal Website Payment Pro account which requires $30 per months and also 2.4% fees on every transaction which I think is ridiculous.

So what other option do i have ?

2checkout, authorize.net I believe also supports recurring payments.

I believe Paypal's 2.4% fee is something you'd have to pay if you use a 3rd party gateway which then you would need to connect to an actual merchant account. I'm not sure if an online dating website is considered high risk, but if it is by the banks,then you'd be looking at 4%+ fees and then Paypal would be a bargain at that point.
