would you pay $250 for a 3 minute video from a professional to promote your brand via social media? Do you think it makes a big difference?

$250 is not unreasonable for a custom video. but for videos to have that value they have to be very well done. Everyone knows that video is a big thing - it tends to hold the viewers attention much more than other media does.

Thanks. For 3 minutes what should I expect for that budget?

$250 is ok-money, but those in need of the best bang for the buck raise their budget to 4-digit sums.

Is it an animated video or a real person or what?

It's got to be pretty good then, for that money imho.
Who is sourcing the pictures?

I guess its ok then. the technicalities of this could be done quite easily I think for a lot less - actually sourcing and adding the images and so on. So i guess for this money I would be expecting the seller to add some value - to put everything together in a way that really enhances the video and acheives whatever you are trying to acheive.

Exactly. OP, you have to demand quality from this provider since you are paying for a high quality video. Do not accept less than an amazing production. :)

Cheers.
